Air Filtration Mandate in NYS?

"New York malls will need high quality air systems that can filter out the coronavirus before they will be allowed to reopen." Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at a press briefing last week. What does this mean for Restaurants? Grocery stores? Homes?

While New York has not allowed malls to reopen in the state yet, Cuomo recommends all businesses and offices “explore the potential for their air conditioning air filtration system.”

Having served Western NY for almost two decades, we feel obligated to speak up for our current customers and those businesses who are concerned about re-opening. While clean air filters are certainly a step in the right direction, they don't completely eliminate chances of spreading air-born viruses alone. Below are our best recommendations to help your home or business re-engage:

1. i-Wave Air Purifier

Kills bacteria and viruses such as: E. Coli, Staph, MRSA, Tuberculosis and Airborne Viruses. This can be installed by one of our HVAC technicians on any furnace unit commercial or residential.

2. High Efficiency Air Filter

5" pleated air filter, filters air to 1 micron! We recommend equipment specific air-filters in order to keep your equipment running more efficiently.

3. Whole House Humidifier

Air-borne viruses do not do well in higher humidity.

4. Air Duct Cleaning

Removing trapped dirt, dander and debris will allow for better breathing, less strain on your equipment and peace of mind for your customers/family.

Above all, we want to make sure that our community is getting accurate information when it comes to the best treatment of your equipment. If you have any questions or are interested in any of these services, you can fill out the form below or contact us directly at 585-271-1280.
